Located next door to the Minnesota Opera, and in the Warehouse District near the Mississippi River, the Gaar Scott building was the last on its block to be redeveloped. The building had been serving as a tire storage facility, and its beautiful historic façade had been completely covered up by green metal siding. The renovation uncovered the lost façade, and the interior was developed in true loft fashion - keeping brick and timbers exposed, and featuring open floor plans. Eight of the market rate units are under a long -term lease to the Minnesota Opera Company. These particular units have been furnished and decorated and visiting opera performers stay an average of four to six weeks.
